The LW1535T Longitudinal Wave EMAT is a non-contact probe designed for high-precision testing on conductive, non-magnetic materials. Utilising the Lorentz force mechanism, this EMAT generates longitudinal (compression) waves, providing an alternative to shear wave EMATs for applications requiring enhanced sensitivity to thickness and flaw detection. With a robust design and compatibility with Sonemat’s PR5000 and GS2020 EMAT Adapter, the LW1535T enables versatile, high-performance inspections across demanding industrial environments.
